About the role

  • Take charge of the post-sale technical onboarding process
  • Work directly with new customers to configure their IoT devices
  • Conduct field visits to customer sites to assess infrastructure and gather technical requirements
  • Proactively monitor device fleets to ensure they are online and transmitting data reliably
  • Maintain and optimize configurations for large-scale device deployments
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with our customers
  • Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Ensure quality and functionality, and also participate in testing and support activities for our software platform and cloud infrastructure

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as a Solutions Engineer, Implementation Specialist, Technical Account Manager, or a similar position
  • Demonstrable programming ability, preferably with a scripting language like Python or JavaScript
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills; you can methodically diagnose an issue, from a single offline sensor to a fleet-wide data anomaly
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A proactive and highly organized mindset, capable of managing multiple customer projects simultaneously
  • Foundational knowledge of the IoT technology stack, including hardware, networking principles, and communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN) is a plus
  • Familiarity with database queries (SQL)
