About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collection & Profile Maintenance: Regularly update and refine WireScreen Collections based on rigorous criteria and user feedback.
  • Data Pipeline & Quality: Partner with engineering to ensure data quality, monitor source health, and enforce accuracy guardrails.
  • Customer Support & Enablement: Educate customer-facing teams on how data collections are built and validated, and partner cross-functionally to scope and develop new collections based on customer demand and research capabilities.
  • Document Analysis: Analyze a range of corporate documents in both Chinese and English to verify and ensure data integrity.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Are fluent in English & Mandarin and able to read and interpret content across Chinese- and English-language sources.
  • Have 2+ years of experience in investigations, corporate due diligence, business intelligence, forensic research, KYC/AML, or similar primary-source research roles.
  • Are adaptable, eager to learn, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and bring a team-first mentality with a willingness to jump in wherever needed in a growing startup environment.
  • Can manage competing priorities, move with urgency, and consistently delivery high-quality work.
  • Enjoy deep, manual investigative work and know how to adapt your approach, think resourcefully, and pursue alternative paths to overcome investigative challenges.
  • Have high business acumen, and interest in global trade, supply chain and corporate data.
  • Have proven analytical skills and attention to detail, especially around identity resolution and data accuracy.
  • Have strong technical proficiency and the ability to adapt to new tools and software swiftly.
  • Are excited to join a collaborative, intellectually curious & low-ego Research team.
