About the role

  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business and strategic decisions
  • Develop and apply statistical models, analytical frameworks, and/or machine learning techniques
  • Translate technical findings into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Create visualizations, reports, and presentations that make data easy to understand and act upon
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
  • Manage competing priorities and deadlines with professionalism and adaptability
  • Apply strong emotional intelligence when navigating conflict, ambiguity, or differences of opinion
  • Maintain high standards for data quality, documentation, and analytical rigor.

Requirements

  • Strong technical acumen in data analysis, statistics, and/or machine learning
  • Proven ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly and effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated humility and a collaborative, team-first mindset
  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to handle conflict and pressure constructively
  • Experience working in fast-paced or high-accountability environments
  • Background in consulting firms (bonus)
  • Experience in military, academia, or federal environments (bonus)
  • Prior contract roles with successful transition to full-time employment (bonus)
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders across organizational levels (bonus).
