About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute multi-channel market development strategies to identify new customers, markets, and sales opportunities
- Identify and pursue opportunities to create or grow prospect relationships and introduce new Winpak solutions
- Partner with Marketing and internal teams to generate qualified sales opportunities
- Execute a consultative sales approach based on customer and prospect challenges
- Position Winpak’s integrated value proposition, including hardware, consumables, services, and packaging solutions
- Demonstrate total cost of ownership, ROI, and long-term value to customers
- Build multi-level relationships with key customer decision-makers
- Manage customer order changes, timelines, and product specifications
- Prepare and process customer orders to meet production and shipping expectations
- Maintain pricing consistency according to published guidelines or customer quotations
- Collaborate with the Winpak Graphics Department on customer graphic requests
- Assist with receivables collection and complete expense reports accurately and on time
- Communicate order and requirement changes to customers and internal teams
- Address customer complaints and coordinate corrective action
- Adhere to budgets and company policies while traveling within the assigned territory
- Maximize sales opportunities, provide sales forecasts, and attend trade shows and seminars
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, closing deals, and meeting or exceeding sales targets within a food and beverage market
- 3+ years of experience building long-term client relationships in a B2B environment
- 2+ years of experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track sales activity, customer interactions, and sales pipeline is an asset
- Able to travel as required, up to 50% of the time, within the assigned territory
- 3+ years of experience in the packaging industry is preferred
- Experience supporting food and beverage products is preferred
- 3+ years of experience collaborating with internal teams such as production, logistics, and sales support is preferred
- Valid driver’s license required for travel purposes
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, especially Business, Marketing, Packaging Engineering, or equivalent
