About the role

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution
  • Perform manual and/or automated testing (functional, regression, integration, performance)
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure full test coverage
  • Analyze test results and provide reports on quality metrics and defects
  • Ensure products meet quality standards before release
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and stand-ups
  • Help improve QA processes, tools, and best practices
  • Maintain test environments and ensure data integrity

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases and scripts
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing
  • Basic knowledge of programming/scripting (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and documentation skills
