About the role
- Own and execute the departmental roadmap, including component reuse initiatives and the global rollout of new product recovery operations.
- Lead recurring synchronization meetings and drive accountability across Legal, Regulatory Policy, Reliability Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve critical program blockers.
- Partner with IT to develop and implement robust Information System support to replace manual tracking with automated, real-time data visibility for high-volume asset flows.
- Manage the timeline for international initiatives, including regional recycling programs, ROI analysis for new markets, and the onboarding of Third-Party Service Providers (3PSPs).
- Define and standardize end-to-end manufacturing process documentation to satisfy stringent quality and regulatory requirements for the reintroduction of reconditioned assets into service.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to intellectual property protection (data wiping), trade compliance, and sub-assembly life-limit tracking.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Program Management, Supply Chain, or Operations, with a proven focus on Reverse Logistics, Hardware Refurbishment, or Asset Recovery.
- Functional understanding of electro-mechanical assembly, Design of Experiments (DOE) principles, and experience navigating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments (e.g., aerospace, automotive, or medical devices) and familiarity with global environmental compliance standards (e.g., WEEE, Battery Directives).
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical requirements into executive-level status updates and drive consensus among stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to perform cost-benefit analysis and drive initiatives that directly improve unit economics and "landed cost" metrics.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
