Human Resources Business Partner
WinebowHuman Resources Business Partner responsible for aligning business objectives and supporting change management initiatives. Collaborating with leadership to ensure effective HR practices and compliance in a hybrid environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Align business objectives with all levels of employees
- Drive and support change management initiatives
- Maintain business partnerships with effective level of business acumen
- Cultivate a collaborative environment with business partners
- Participate and lead regular meetings with business leaders
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements
- Provide guidance on labor laws and Union contracts
- Manage performance management guidance
- Develop recruitment strategies for personnel
- Understand benefit programs and communicate offerings
- Manage special employee events and recognition programs
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
- Plan and execute HR-related projects
- Arrive to work and meetings on time
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information
- Provide effective written and verbal communication
- Complete assigned training for career development
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist/Business Partner environment
- Associate’s degree or completion of SHRM certification within the first year in the position
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related degree preferred
- SHRM or PHR certification preferred
- Distribution and/or warehouse environment preferred
- Experience working with Unions preferred
- Working knowledge in HRIS systems, UKG preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
