About the role
- Own our legal and regulatory agenda for a high-frequency crypto trading firm handling ~1% global crypto trading volume.
- Manage high‑impact projects and identify regulatory risks.
- Be part of the leadership team and drive long-term legal & regulatory strategy.
- Scale legal processes & tooling to support growing operations.
- Navigate ambiguous and evolving regulatory environments and make decisions with imperfect information.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of post qualification legal experience, qualification in a common law system strongly preferred.
- Former CLO or GC experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in or with firms conducting regulated activities, including engaging directly with the regulators.
- Legal experience with international capital markets: securities, derivatives, financial services.
- Experience in international corporate structuring: corporate contracts, taxation, employment.
- Specific experience with digital assets regulation is welcome.
