About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as electrical engineer on projects
- Provide design, design management, specifications, and studies for electrical projects
- Develop good client relationships
- Assist in preparing engineering fees for project procurement
- Work on federal projects, vertical building designs, power distribution and wiring, and water, wastewater, and industrial waste facilities
- Collaborate with staff, team members, and other disciplines
- Perform office and field work
- Conduct local site visits
- Develop engineering solutions with other disciplines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed Electrical Engineer
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience on similar projects
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related subject
- Current PE License or EIT License with ability to pass the PE
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with electrical project design, including power systems, power distribution, lighting design, and building systems
- Understanding of building codes and construction issues
- Ability to make local site visits
- Ability to work on office and field projects
- Applicants must not require work visa sponsorship
