About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and manage all aspects of large, multi-discipline engineering projects
Independently coordinate engineers' work and plan team assignments throughout project development
Establish client relationships and participate in marketing, contractual, and design meetings
Coordinate workload throughout project development and ensure documents are completed on schedule
Track project financial aspects and adjust team work effort to meet schedules
Work with the Midwest Civil Practice Lead and/or Client Account Lead on project reviews as needed
Perform other duties as necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven ability to manage multiple team members and coordinate effectively with other engineers and technicians
Self-starter able to multitask and pay close attention to detail
Ability to communicate thoughts and ideas effectively to peers, senior staff, and clients
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related curriculum
Licensed Professional Engineer in Missouri or ability to obtain within 4 months
Minimum of twenty years’ experience in the design of streets and highways
Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations applicable to street and/or highway design projects
Specific experience winning and executing state DOT projects related to highways, streets, or sidewalks/trails preferred
