About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform roadway design and modeling using MicroStation OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Coordinate roadway design with Project Managers, Peer Engineers, CADD Team Members, and other project disciplines
Meet project deadlines for projects throughout Missouri and other regions as needed
Assist in developing roadway design plans and contract documents
Work independently while interacting with Wilson & Company team members
Gain experience in business development and marketing, including attending local industry conferences and seminars
Manage and develop business client relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited school
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain
0–3 years’ experience in the design of streets and highways
Experience with federal, state, and local regulations for street and highway projects
Experience with MicroStation Roadway Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong work ethic and understanding of engineering principles
Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, including Word and Excel
Good intrapersonal skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with peers, senior staff, and clients
