About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform roadway design and modeling utilizing Microstation/OpenRoads
  • Lead and manage tasks on projects of various sizes
  • Work with experienced designers and project managers
  • Collaborate with other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects
  • Work primarily on projects in Missouri and Kansas, with opportunities to support regional projects
  • Communicate and partner effectively with peers, senior staff, and clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Kansas Professional Engineer licensed or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 4–7 years’ experience designing streets and highways in accordance with local, state, and/or federal regulations
  • Ability to work effectively with other engineers and technicians
  • Background in traffic engineering design can be helpful
  • Experience in CADD utilizing Microstation
  • Not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas
