About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform roadway design and modeling utilizing Microstation/OpenRoads
- Lead and manage tasks on projects of various sizes
- Work with experienced designers and project managers
- Collaborate with other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects
- Work primarily on projects in Missouri and Kansas, with opportunities to support regional projects
- Communicate and partner effectively with peers, senior staff, and clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Kansas Professional Engineer licensed or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 4–7 years’ experience designing streets and highways in accordance with local, state, and/or federal regulations
- Ability to work effectively with other engineers and technicians
- Background in traffic engineering design can be helpful
- Experience in CADD utilizing Microstation
- Not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas
