About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform roadway design and modeling utilizing Microstation/OpenRoads
Lead and manage tasks on projects of various sizes
Collaborate with experienced designers, project managers, other disciplines, and subconsultants to deliver projects
Work primarily on projects in Missouri and Kansas, with opportunities to support regional projects
Communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
Kansas Professional Engineer licensed or the ability to obtain within 6 months
4–7 years’ experience designing streets and highways in accordance with local, state, and/or federal regulations
Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians
Experience in CADD utilizing Microstation
Background in traffic engineering design can be helpful
Not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas
