About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform roadway design and modeling
- Lead and manage tasks on projects of various sizes
- Work with experienced designers and project managers, as well as collaborating with other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects
- Primarily working on projects in New Mexico with opportunities to support regional projects
- Efficiently communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- New Mexico Professional Engineer licensed or the ability to obtain within 6 months
- 1-4 years’ experience in the design of streets and highways in accordance with local, state and/or federal regulations
- Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians
- A background in traffic engineering design and H&H design can be helpful in this role
