About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote the sale of Water Management products through channel partner networks, consulting engineers, contractors, OEM partners, direct-to-end-users, and other channels, as appropriate.
  • Work in conjunction with the sales team as a key technical advisor, identifying and providing reliable solutions to assure customer satisfaction throughout all stages of the sales process.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
  • Acknowledge and respond to RFQs/RFI’s in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize technical knowledge, processes, and internal resources to assess the potential application for Water Management products and offer solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop technical offers for engineered products, including, but not limited to, cost estimates, energy analysis, drawings, specifications, engineering submittals, and other information as requested by the customer.
  • Positively contribute to the following departments: Sales, Order Management, Purchasing, Aftermarket, Project Management, and Operations.
  • Resolve customer challenges in a manner consistent with the company’s mission, values, and financial objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree preferred, with emphasis on Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related experience in place of education
  • Knowledge in the following areas: Rotating Equipment, Wastewater Treatment Technology, Theory of Design, Fluid Mechanics, Mixing Technology, Electric Motor Technology
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills
  • 3-5 years of business experience
  • Proficient with: ERP Systems, Outlook, Microsoft Products, Adobe Pro, Pump Selection Software, etc.
  • Competitive nature with a strong desire to succeed in a team environment
