About the role
- Develop and implement a nationwide OEM sales strategy aligned with corporate and product management objectives
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive positioning within the OEM segment
- Identify, develop, and grow OEM customer relationships and strategic accounts
- Define and execute sales plans to achieve assigned order intake, revenue, and profitability targets
- Monitor sales performance against goals using defined action plans and metrics
- Prepare technical calculations, pricing, and proposals; support bids, tenders, and RFPs as applicable
- Serve as the primary customer interface, ensuring responsiveness and consistency in communication
- Coordinate with engineering, applications, product management, operations, and logistics to support OEM customer needs
- Monitor customer satisfaction and provide actionable feedback to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Support new product introductions and customized OEM solutions
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales on large, complex, or strategic OEM opportunities
- Conduct OEM-focused marketing and customer engagement activities in alignment with company standards
- Develop targeted OEM customers into long-term strategic partners
- Identify new OEM opportunities across industries and applications
- Provide insight and recommendations on packaging and positioning products to expand OEM sales
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related technical discipline
- Several years of experience in technical or engineered product sales; pump or OEM-related experience preferred
- Experience with long-cycle, project-based sales environments
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex product applications
- Proven ability to meet or exceed national sales targets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
- Ability to work independently while managing a broad, nationwide territory
- Strong organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills
- Competitive, results-driven mindset with a strong desire for success
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% nationwide (overnight travel by car and air required)
