About the role

  • Develop and implement a nationwide OEM sales strategy aligned with corporate and product management objectives
  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive positioning within the OEM segment
  • Identify, develop, and grow OEM customer relationships and strategic accounts
  • Define and execute sales plans to achieve assigned order intake, revenue, and profitability targets
  • Monitor sales performance against goals using defined action plans and metrics
  • Prepare technical calculations, pricing, and proposals; support bids, tenders, and RFPs as applicable
  • Serve as the primary customer interface, ensuring responsiveness and consistency in communication
  • Coordinate with engineering, applications, product management, operations, and logistics to support OEM customer needs
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and provide actionable feedback to leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Support new product introductions and customized OEM solutions
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales on large, complex, or strategic OEM opportunities
  • Conduct OEM-focused marketing and customer engagement activities in alignment with company standards
  • Develop targeted OEM customers into long-term strategic partners
  • Identify new OEM opportunities across industries and applications
  • Provide insight and recommendations on packaging and positioning products to expand OEM sales

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related technical discipline
  • Several years of experience in technical or engineered product sales; pump or OEM-related experience preferred
  • Experience with long-cycle, project-based sales environments
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex product applications
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed national sales targets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
  • Ability to work independently while managing a broad, nationwide territory
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills
  • Competitive, results-driven mindset with a strong desire for success
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% nationwide (overnight travel by car and air required)
