About the role

  • Lead scoping, technical design, and work planning during the presale process
  • Play the lead role in technical architecture and discovery projects and refine product and technical architecture
  • Own a technology vertical and act as the leading authority on the Adobe ecosystem
  • Provide architectural account-level guidance as a roving catalyst on existing project teams
  • Engage with prospective clients to explore capabilities and align solutions with client goals
  • Lead architecture efforts for new engagements and guide in-flight projects to ensure technical soundness and business alignment
  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams to bring client visions to life
  • Provide estimates for team composition, scope, and resource planning to ensure realistic project scoping and staffing

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting services
  • Adobe Ecosystem: Expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) including architecture, component development, template design, workflows, and integrations
  • Experience with at least one other Adobe platform (e.g., RT-CDP, Target, AJO, CJA, Commerce) and familiarity across the Adobe stack
  • Strong understanding of headless CMS architecture and platforms like Contentful and Contentstack
  • Deep expertise in web architecture principles: RESTful and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, microservices
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js, Vue.js)
  • Experience with architectural patterns (e.g., event-driven, serverless)
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques, security best practices, and SEO considerations for web applications
  • Experience delivering software in an agency/client-service environment
  • Experience with commercial conversations involving budgets and fees
  • Experience iterating and refining product vision with clients and offering multiple approach options
  • Skilled in software estimation, work planning, and building project plans within time/cost constraints
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
