About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead teams to execute complex project plans for moderate-to-large projects
- Establish core project teams and coordinate internal and external partners
- Coordinate technical resources under the Project Life Cycle framework
- Develop reports, presentations, schedules, and cost forecasts
- Present and execute engineering-based recommendations to meet reliability targets and reduce risk
- Prepare, review, and approve RFPs, contractor evaluations, and selection decisions
- Apply economic impact analysis to improve profitability and long-term value
- Anticipate challenges, gather data, evaluate opportunities, and make high-impact decisions
- Design project solutions that improve lifecycle economic performance
- Lead power and energy infrastructure projects, including greenfield and brownfield opportunities, from early screening through final investment decision
- Define project scope, configuration, capacity, and phasing
- Maintain integrated project assumptions covering technical design, execution strategy, schedule, and cost basis
- Develop and evaluate CAPEX, OPEX, lifecycle value, and sensitivity analyses
- Evaluate technical configurations and project scenarios for investment decisions
- Interface with commercial, engineering, permitting, and operations teams
- Coordinate early-stage FEED-level engineering, including one-lines, equipment selection, site layout, and constructability
- Work with procurement and vendors on budgetary pricing, long-lead equipment, and supply-chain risks
- Identify technical, permitting, market, and execution risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Support transition of projects into execution
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- E&C Project Manager III: minimum five years' experience in oil and gas engineering/project management
- E&C Project Manager Senior: minimum ten years' experience in oil and gas engineering/project management
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills
- Experience supporting development of energy or infrastructure projects
- Experience with early-phase project definition, feasibility analysis, and pre-FID decision-making
- Ability to develop project economics, including cost modeling, lifecycle value analysis, and sensitivity evaluation
- Experience collaborating across commercial, engineering, and project controls teams
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Preferred: Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
- Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Preferred: Experience supporting power generation environments, with exposure to turbines and/or reciprocating equipment
