About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain, and provide guidance on environmental processes and policies
Assess environmental risk and provide recommendations to address risk
Participate in or run approved environmental risk actions, including required regulatory documentation
Participate in environmental project planning and implementation
Schedule projects, estimate costs, and prepare environmental impact assessments and reports
Provide guidance and mentor others
Prepare and submit applications for environmental permits, renewals, approvals, variances, and other authorizations
Coordinate with company partners
Perform environmental compliance audits and due diligence investigations
Identify environmental training needs and provide training
Develop, recommend, and implement improvements for air, water, waste management, and/or remediation systems and practices
Prepare and submit required compliance reports and certifications
Develop and maintain environmental compliance documentation
Cultivate relationships between Williams and regulatory agencies
Interpret federal, state, and local environmental regulations and ensure compliance
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum eight (8) years’ environmental experience
Functional and technical expertise in air, water, and/or waste
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills
