About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain, and provide guidance on environmental processes and policies
- Assess environmental risk and provide recommendations to address risk
- Participate in or run approved environmental risk actions, including required regulatory documentation
- Participate in environmental project planning and implementation
- Schedule projects, estimate costs, and prepare environmental impact assessments and reports
- Provide guidance and mentor others
- Prepare and submit applications for environmental permits, renewals, approvals, variances, and other authorizations
- Coordinate with company partners
- Perform environmental compliance audits and due diligence investigations
- Identify environmental training needs and provide training
- Develop, recommend, and implement improvements for air, water, waste management, and/or remediation systems and practices
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports and certifications
- Develop and maintain environmental compliance documentation
- Cultivate relationships between Williams and regulatory agencies
- Interpret federal, state, and local environmental regulations and ensure compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum eight (8) years’ environmental experience
- Functional and technical expertise in air, water, and/or waste
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills
