About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop understanding of Williams core business and operating areas
Gather and analyze real-time data to identify efficiencies and ensure proper asset maintenance
Build credibility with customers by contributing to major projects and capital expansions
Collaborate with teams across operating areas and fields to achieve enterprise goals
Follow and support Williams Values
Work generally Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Perform other duties as assigned
Complete an impactful project aligned to skills and interests
Participate in mentorship, senior leadership collaboration, networking, community outreach, and professional development activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, energy, financial, mechanical or petroleum engineering, or computer science
Graduation date of December 2027 or beyond
Not eligible for sponsorship, OPT, or CPT
Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
Willingness and ability to relocate for the summer to engineering internship locations
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Safety as the utmost priority
Ability to work independently, within a team, and within a matrix environment
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving, analytical, and creative-thinking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills
Leadership experience
Intellectual curiosity
