About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Operations team members to address safety and environmental concerns
- Increase equipment availability and optimize facility efficiency
- Collaborate with peers in engineering and technical services to improve processes
- Apply knowledge of process, construction, and design engineering to develop engineered project solutions for operational issues
- Works independently on mid-sized projects/technical assignments supporting operations
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry and operational requirements
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of safety requirements, producing results and meeting goals
- Champion processes, procedures, and safety standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- A minimum of four (4) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry** (Engineer III)
- A minimum of two (2) years of engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry (Engineer II)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Exhibits excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and deems safety an utmost priority
- FE Certification preferred
- Project Management experience preferred
