About the role
- Lead and oversee Corporate Income Tax governance, reporting and compliance at divisional and regional level
- Manage outsourced corporate tax compliance process and oversight of advisors across 20+ jurisdictions
- Review and prepare tax provisions (current and deferred) and tax disclosures at entity and consolidated group level under US GAAP
- Drive quarterly tax provisions process, manage UK CT quarterly instalment payments and monitor tax payments for group entities
- Prepare cash tax and tax liability forecasts and use EBITDA forecasts to provide indicative ETR forecasting
- Run tax year-end audit and consolidation process and coordinate with external advisors
- Ensure internal resources, processes and controls are in place and identify finance and tax process improvements
- Manage UK compliance matters including CFC, CIR & Pillar Two and prepare forms for treaty exemptions or reduced withholding tax rates
- Maintain Tax Risk Register, reconcile corporate income tax and withholding tax balances and produce cash tax estimate models
- Lead automation of data analysis and review processes leveraging company systems and data platform
Requirements
- Degree in relevant subject, ACA or equivalent
- 7-8 years of international tax reporting and compliance experience across industry and/or in a major accounting firm in a corporate tax department
- Strong tax accountant with excellent knowledge of UK tax rules and corporate tax compliance
- Excellent understanding of tax accounting and ability to partner and train wider Finance colleagues
- Experience of planning, implementing and documenting Tax and Finance processes (advantage)
- Ability to obtain, scrutinize and evaluate systems and data independently of wider Finance teams
- Experience managing and project-managing multiple international tax compliance requirements and outsourced advisors
- Hands on, resilient, commercially minded team-player with strong attention to detail
