Key responsibilities & impact

Advising on executive compensation matters, supporting the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors
Providing legal support for capital markets activities
Leading aspects of U.S. securities law compliance and public company disclosure
Advising on corporate governance matters
Providing strategic, practical legal advice to various teams
Assisting where needed on other legal matters, such as M&A, cybersecurity, and subsidiary management
Helping to develop, implement, and continually improve company and team processes and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

JD and active license to practice (U.S.)
At least seven years of relevant experience at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house legal department, with substantial corporate and securities experience supporting a public company.
Deep knowledge of and experience with public company reporting requirements, particularly executive compensation disclosures
Experience with executive compensation and equity program support at scale
Experience supporting capital markets transactions in a public company environment
High level of integrity, professionalism, intellectual curiosity, humility, and willingness to stretch
Impeccable written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with legal and non-legal audiences at all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational as well as people and project management skills
Excellent at understanding complex topics as well as finding streamlined solutions to complex issues that address appropriate levels of risk.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams, build strong relationships, and inspire others to collectively achieve corporate objectives.
Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in your day-to-day workflow for relevant outputs.
