About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with Business Finance, Tax, & Treasury business partners to understand business processes, goals and gaps
Drive the planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects & system improvements in Workday
Leverage business knowledge and expertise to find opportunities for process improvements
Participate in the change management and launch support processes of any new and modification of existing configuration
Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, domain experts and end-user representatives
Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met
Assist project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance signoff

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional Business Analyst experience supporting finance teams and processes
5+ years of experience with the implementation and administration of financial applications
Experience detailing and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies
Workday Financials experience is preferred
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
Ability to learn and adopt new technologies, applications, and solutions
Ability to take takeaways and share with others to improve the overall skill of the team
Ability to understand common issues and mentor others to drive work down to the most appropriate level of support
Self-motivated, flexible, teammate with validated multi-tasking, time management & organization
Interpersonal, teamwork, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Previous consulting experience either as a consultant with a consulting company or an internal consultant, a plus
Ability to help define team processes, make recommendations regarding areas of improvement
Open to 50% reporting to our Pleasanton or Atlanta, GA office.
