About the role
- Act as a trusted Workday advisor and assist customers with how-to questions and feature demonstrations
- Conduct research to ensure understanding of customer questions and related Workday concepts
- Deliver small-scope consulting engagements providing configuration guidance, demonstrations, considerations, tips & tricks
- Troubleshoot product configuration and provide optimal product configuration to meet customer business requirements
- Create and deliver customer presentations (Accelerator Webinars)
- Provide one-on-one consulting guidance to accelerate customer feature adoption (Feature Accelerator)
- Review customer tenants to identify adoption opportunities (Feature Adoption Tenant Reviews)
- Complete and maintain product expertise and Workday Certification(s) and keep up to date with Workday roadmap
- Help drive creation of new programs to drive customer feature adoption
- Deliver other Customer Enablement services including Office Hours, configuration and business requirements reviews, one-on-one configuration designs, and full deployments of Workday features
Requirements
- 3+ years of implementation experience
- 3+ years of experience with Workday deployments and financials systems
- 3+ years of software consulting experience
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required
- Advanced degree preferred
- Workday Certification, or ability to certify in at least one of: FDM, Record to Report, Financial Accounting
- Expertise in FDM Design; Financial Budgets; Financial Accounting; Accounting Journals; Allocations; Consolidations; Intercompany Processing; Period Close; Statistics; Multicurrency
- Ability to gain a thorough understanding of Workday concepts as new features are released
- Ability to distill complex concepts into understandable presentations
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple engagements and deliverables simultaneously
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to travel up to 20%
