About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support Workday’s SEC filings and other corporate regulatory filings
Assist with corporate governance matters
Provide broad-based equity compensation program support and advice
Provide legal support for debt and equity offerings and other transactional corporate matters
Support the Workday Ventures team with investments in emerging companies, ongoing matters, and strategic exits
Assist where needed on other legal matters, such as M&A integration, both domestic and international

Requirements

What you’ll need

JD and active license to practice
At least two years of relevant corporate experience as a corporate or securities attorney at a top-tier law firm
Knowledge of and experience with public company reporting requirements
High level of integrity, professionalism, intellectual curiosity, humility, and willingness to grow
Impeccable written and oral communication skills
Extremely high attention to detail
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
