Contribute to a cross-functional team building products in the data engineering space
Implement user experience on data touch points, enabling ML solutions
Ensure AI-driven solutions integrate effectively within the Workday stack
Help build user-facing and platform experiences that increase trust in AI agents
Design and ship full stack solutions—from intuitive front-end experiences to resilient backend services
Tackle complex, high-stakes engineering and product challenges
Participate in the transition from a localized billing tool to a core piece of Workday’s enterprise infrastructure
Define strategy and establish new technical standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years experience in software development engineering including designing, developing, and deploying software solutions
3+ years XO development experience
Experience delivering enterprise-grade online applications
3 + years of experience with UML, Web application development or SaaS (Software as a Service) technologies
Solid ability in Algorithmic Thinking, including distributed data processing and memory management
Working knowledge of API Development, including RESTful principles and AWS API Gateway integration
Good understanding of Code Testing methodologies, such as unit testing for data pipelines and integration testing
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles like SOLID
Solid understanding of Software Development principles and proficiency in Python and Infrastructure as Code (specifically CloudFormation or AWS CDK)
Working experience with Source Control Management (SCM) tools such as Git
Proven ability in Team Collaboration within a software development team
Good skills in creating Technical Writing Documentation for state machine logic flows, ETL schemas, and deployment playbooks.
