Lead Full-Stack Development: design and develop the Flowise application across frontend, backend, and infrastructure; write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
Innovate and Execute: make Flowise the best visual low-code tool for building AI agents; align and implement features across open-source, cloud, and enterprise versions; leverage expertise in AI frameworks, evals, and benchmarking.
Collaborate and Implement: partner with leaders and teams across departments to identify software requirements and implement effective solutions; turn complex problems into compelling solutions.
Drive Code Quality: participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor other engineers to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Navigate Ambiguity: proactively identify and resolve issues within software applications to ensure optimal functionality and ship customer value early and often.
Operate in a fast-paced environment and guide teammates to deliver customer value.
Requirements
6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
4+ years of hands-on experience with our core stack: JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, React, Express, Turbo (Flowise is a monorepo).
4+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS, along with a strong understanding of performance optimization and scaling strategies.
Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Proficient in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and advanced software development practices, including DevOps, automated testing, and observability.
Demonstrated ability to design and architect complex full-stack systems, create well-documented APIs, define efficient data models, and build user-centric interfaces.
Experience with AI frameworks, evals, and benchmarking.
Successful track record of operating effectively in fast-paced, multi-functional teams and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to translate ambiguous product ideas into clear technical designs.
Ability to participate in on-call rotations and effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
