About the role
- Project manage one or more Workday product implementations concurrently
- Participate in the sales cycle to gather requirements and develop proposals/SOW
- Provide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services resources
- Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed
- Manage and measure project performance using appropriate tools
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings
- Ensure the client adopts Workday best practices
- Identify opportunities to position other service offerings
- Assist in transitioning the customer from Professional Services to Product Support
Requirements
- 6+ years of project management experience in Medium and/or Large Enterprise ERP solutions (preferably in Higher Education)
- 6+ years of prior consulting experience (either internal or with consulting/software company)
- 6+ years of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, Ellucian, or similar applications
- 4+ years of working knowledge in HCM, Financials, or SIS business areas
- Previous experience with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, etc)
- Experience in project management involving financial business processes and reporting
- Ability to travel 50 percent or more of the time
