About the role

  • Support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government
  • Develop innovative software empowering federal agencies to manage human resources effectively
  • Collaborate closely with customers and scrum teams
  • Serve as the voice of the customer for product areas spanning Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Time & Scheduling, Recruiting, Payroll and other Talent Management areas
  • Partner with other Workday functional and technical product authorities to set priorities and create detailed requirements documentation

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the U.S. Federal market
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management or related experience
  • Experience with federal HR systems currently offered by Shared Service Providers (e.g., HR Connect, EmpowHR, FPPS)
  • 5+ years of experience with HCM and Payroll products (HCM Core, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting)
  • Knowledge of Title V, OPM Regulations, DOD Requirements, GPPA, and the Human Capital Business Reference Model and Human Capital Information Model
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Demonstrated ability to translate sophisticated HR requirements into actionable product specifications
  • Experience presenting to executive audiences including the federal government agencies
  • Knowledge of unique human capital business practices in the intelligence community
  • Skilled in time, priority, and task management
  • Ability to anticipate problems, resolve ambiguity, and take decisive action
  • Self starter and leader that can get things done within a cross functional matrixed environment and be accountable for getting things done.
