About the role
- Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday’s Financials solution for our FSI customers and help establish and champion best practices for all FSI deployments.
- Become an expert in the Workday Financials product suite.
- Provide FSI Industry perspective for customer business requirements.
- Ensure FSI Industry best practices are maintained to reflect new industry requirements and trends.
- On engagements: understand client business requirement and perform implementation activities.
- Serve as a mentor for new Financial Consultants.
- Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday FSI Industry best practices and is referenceable once in production.
- Participate in update training and other events that help share product skills with other consultants.
Requirements
- P-4: 4-5 years FSI industry - ERP Implementations General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations Implementations experience
- P-5: 7 years FSI industry - ERP Implementations General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations Implementations experience
- Financial touchpoints to Projects, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Assets Experience
- Workday Deployment Experience
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Experience with Workday Accounting Center
- Experience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences
- Strong industry knowledge, including staying abreast of current trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments
- Strong influencing skills, persuasive communication and ability to drive consensus
- Proven mentorship skills, ability to foster individual growth and development
- Comprehensive product knowledge of product features, benefits, applications, and market positioning
- Exceptional relationship management skills with clients, partners, and colleagues
- Proven ability to effectively gather and analyze requirements through various techniques
