About the role
- This is a senior sales leadership role focused on recruiting, leading, coaching, and developing a team of Account Executives focused on driving net new deals across India.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to drive account development, pipeline generation, and manage equitable territory distribution models.
- Develop and manage executive relationships by conducting business-driven discussions.
- Lead negotiation, planning, strategy, and execution.
- Build a Go-To-Market Strategy for this line of business.
- Actively coach, support, and lead the sales organization around account coverage, territory management, demand generation, and opportunity execution.
- Articulate Workday’s impact on business value to C-Level executives and build relationships that drive deals to a successful conclusion.
- Orchestrate deal activity in partnership with both Net New and Customer Base leadership across the region.
- Drive Workday Culture and cross-group collaboration as a member of the regional leadership team.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years experience as a sales leader successfully selling solutions at the C-Level.
- Proven experience in developing through to execution of a go-to-market strategy.
- Experience in leading a team that sells net-new solutions into enterprise-sized organizations.
- Demonstrable results in leading teams within complex, team-based sales environments.
- Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
