About the role
- Work at the intersection of finance, ERP and the energy sector
- Take subject-matter responsibility and provide consultancy on an equal footing
- Support ERP projects from analysis through to go-live
- Provide operational support to existing customers
- Handle support tickets and analyze issues
- Assist clients with accounting questions and regulatory requirements
- Support system migrations and transitions
- Create supporting materials such as guides or videos
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an ERP consultant with a focus on financial processes
- Solid knowledge of financial accounting (general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets accounting, financial closings)
- Confident in analyzing functional/business requirements
- Ideally familiar with the specific requirements of municipal utilities or utility providers (e.g., regulatory frameworks, separation of business areas, energy-sector billing logic)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or comparable ERP systems
- Proficient in working with integrations/interfaces, data migrations and reporting tools
