About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support go-to-market plans for the China partner portfolio to drive article submissions, revenue, and readership growth under the manager's direction
- Lead new journal launches from planning through execution
- Plan and execute email, paid media, and organic social campaigns tailored to key audiences
- Build relationships with Publishing colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders across APAC
- Analyze market data, intelligence, and competitive insights to inform campaign reporting and strategy
- Work with the Associate Director, Journal Marketing, Publishing colleagues, and regional stakeholders to grow submissions, revenue, and readership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with core marketing tools, such as email marketing platforms and social media schedulers
- Ability to interpret data and campaign metrics to inform decisions
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Preferred: 2 years of marketing experience, ideally in academic publishing, the APAC region, or a large, complex organization
- Preferred: Experience in publishing or another service industry with a customer-centric approach
- Preferred: Interest in or basic understanding of life sciences disciplines
