About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage marketing campaigns and programs for a portfolio of physical sciences journals
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns in partnership with senior team members
- Plan and execute events and sponsorships as outlined in marketing plans
- Lead creation of marketing assets including web content, email campaigns, and promotional materials
- Track and analyze campaign performance, author engagement metrics, and marketing ROI
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external agencies supporting journal marketing activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within academic publishing or a related scientific/technical field
- Qualification in Marketing, Communications, Publishing, Business, or related field
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with marketing platforms, analytics tools, and research methodologies
- Experience analyzing and reporting on campaign performance and audience insights
- Creative thinker with a data-informed approach to marketing optimization
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across teams
