About the role
- As a Senior Sales Specialist, you are responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers in the German-speaking region of Switzerland.
- You are accountable for the continuous development and expansion of sustainable new and existing customer relationships.
- In addition, you ensure solution-oriented, individual customer support and advisory services and are responsible for selling the full range of our offerings (Colocation, Managed Hosting, SAP Hosting, Business Cloud & Servers, and IT Outsourcing), with a focus on Cloud Native Managed Services.
- Your responsibilities also include customer presentations on site, preparing proposals (supported by Presales and Solution Architects), and conducting negotiations through to contract signing.
- To continuously expand our product and service portfolio, you monitor the market and competitors.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in business or information technology, or several years of relevant professional experience.
- Several years of experience selling IT solutions in a B2B environment, ideally in IT infrastructure, security, or datacenter operations.
- Familiarity with medium-sized and large enterprises.
- Strong regional knowledge of the German-speaking part of Switzerland, ideally with an existing network in the region.
- Knowledge of IT business models, including hybrid IT cloud services (public/private).
- High level of commitment, persuasiveness, confident presence, and strong presentation skills.
- Communicative, team-oriented personality with a pragmatic working style.
- Curiosity, a drive for innovation, and willingness to travel.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
