About the role
- Supports presales in the area of cloud and managed services
- Acts as a trusted advisor to sales teams and customers
- Develops solution concepts together with customers
- Advises on the most appropriate solutions
- Analyzes customer requirements and defines needs
- Prepares and presents cost calculations and proposals
- Supports implementation phases and identifies upselling opportunities
- Develops new solutions to expand the service portfolio
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in solution architecture / presales
- Preferably in cybersecurity managed services
- At least 10 years of professional experience in IT
- Relevant experience with Windows and Linux systems, virtualization products (VMware / KVM) and storage solutions
- Solid knowledge of major IaaS and PaaS services and IBM Power ecosystem architectures (IBM i / AIX)
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery processes and business continuity mechanisms (RPO, RTO, SLA, etc.)
- Strong communicator with a professional presence when dealing with customers and stakeholders and good commercial awareness
- Independent, solution-oriented working style, high adaptability and strong organizational skills
- Strategic and analytical thinking ability
- Willingness to travel and a valid driving license
- Business-fluent German and English skills
