About the role
- Promote and support a positive Health and Safety culture by delivering SHEQ programmes
- Liaise with and audit team members and subcontractors across various sectors
- Plan and undertake audits and inspections to ensure compliance with legal and client requirements
- Identify trends and provide advice for improvement
- Develop and deliver Toolbox Talks based on audit findings
- Maintain audit records and ensure timely corrective actions
- Assist in investigations related to health, safety, and environmental issues
- Act as a SHEQ subject matter expert with strong knowledge of legislation and best practice
- Develop and review RAMS for operations
- Support management system development and accreditations
Requirements
- A drivers License
- Ability to gain Security Clearance
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
- Experience of working in the field as a Health and Safety/SHEQ Advisor within construction disciplines inclusive of work at height, asbestos (flexible) and manual handling.
- Experience in the development of RAMS to support the above elements of construction activities.
- Proven knowledge and experience in delivering across the health, safety and environmental spectrum.
