About the role

  • Balancing of in-game economies, progression systems, rewards, currencies and features
  • Analysis of player and economy data (e.g., spins, bets, wallets, XP curves, retention, monetization)
  • Development and maintenance of balancing models, formulas and rule sets
  • Running simulations, tests and iterations (e.g., scenarios, edge cases, exploits)
  • Close collaboration with Game Design, Monetization, BI and Development
  • Translating complex numerical models into clear concepts and actionable decisions
  • Documenting balancing logic and assisting with feature explanations & tutorials

Requirements

  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical thinking
  • Passion for games — ideally with an understanding of game economies, progression or monetization
  • Experience or strong interest in: Game Design / Economy Design / Balancing
  • Data analysis or statistical modeling
  • Ideally an IT or programming background (e.g., Python, SQL, Excel/Sheets, simulations, scripting)
  • Ability to explain complex relationships in a structured and clear way
  • Independent, solution-oriented working style
