About the role
- Balancing of in-game economies, progression systems, rewards, currencies and features
- Analysis of player and economy data (e.g., spins, bets, wallets, XP curves, retention, monetization)
- Development and maintenance of balancing models, formulas and rule sets
- Running simulations, tests and iterations (e.g., scenarios, edge cases, exploits)
- Close collaboration with Game Design, Monetization, BI and Development
- Translating complex numerical models into clear concepts and actionable decisions
- Documenting balancing logic and assisting with feature explanations & tutorials
Requirements
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical thinking
- Passion for games — ideally with an understanding of game economies, progression or monetization
- Experience or strong interest in: Game Design / Economy Design / Balancing
- Data analysis or statistical modeling
- Ideally an IT or programming background (e.g., Python, SQL, Excel/Sheets, simulations, scripting)
- Ability to explain complex relationships in a structured and clear way
- Independent, solution-oriented working style
