Security Engineer

• Work in a collaborative environment to assist engineers in the design of OT networks and SCADA system architectures.
• Support the design of industrial communication systems, including fiber optic, Ethernet, cellular, and wireless networks.
• Support the design of instrumentation and control systems including the development of drawings such as process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), electrical diagrams, schematic diagrams, and loop diagrams.
• Support the design of cybersecurity measures for SCADA and control systems, including: Network segmentation and secure zones/conduits Remote access solutions (VPNs, jump hosts) User access control and authentication strategies.
• Participate in cybersecurity assessments using industry frameworks such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST CSF), American Water Works Association (AWWA) guidance, and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) tools.
• Assist in design of SCADA system infrastructure, including server architecture, virtualization, and network integration.
• Prepare technical documentation, including network diagrams, cybersecurity plans, and control system specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, IT staff, contractors, and system integrators during design and construction.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for network and SCADA systems.
• Perform field investigations, testing, and commissioning support for communication and control systems.

Network & Cybersecurity Engineer – Entry-Level

Manager

• Oversee the firm’s safety programs, program development and safety training for both office and field personnel.
• Develop, update and maintain firmwide safety programs and procedures to be compliant with OSHA, State and USG Safety Regulations as well as providing training for OSHA 10-hour, 30-hour and HAZWOPER.
• Update and maintain WRA’s Safety Program and Policies in the Employee Handbook and on WRA’s intranet web site including safety bulletins and events, safety certifications and training opportunities.
• Manage client safety programs for construction projects including oversight of dedicated construction site safety auditors, development of quarterly safety audit reports and review of contractor health and safety plans.
• Conduct random site safety audits for construction projects and field operations e.g., building projects, water-wastewater facilities, bridge inspections, maintenance of traffic and confined space entries.
• Provide safety training and issuance of safety equipment to all assigned field personnel based on job-specific risks or hazards- OSHA 500 certification required for training.
• Prepare Accident Prevention Plans (APPs) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA) for Federal clients associated with WRA facility site visits and investigations during Project Planning and Design Phases.
• Review contractors’ safety plans for compliance with the construction contract submittal requirements and attend pre-construction meetings.
