About the role

  • Ensure a seamless employee experience across the full lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
  • Create clarity in people processes, embed values into everyday experience, and provide foundation to attract, retain, and engage talent
  • Deliver end-to-end onboarding and offboarding with 100% completion of required steps within agreed timelines
  • Develop and implement structured training for new hires, including product training and team-by-team onboarding/training guides
  • Launch and coordinate quarterly engagement and culture initiatives, supporting the Culture Committee
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, job descriptions, leave administration, and quarterly people reporting
  • Run exit interviews, compile quarterly insights on reasons for leaving, and track engagement through quarterly eNPS and annual engagement survey
  • Support recruitment and onboarding while ensuring values and standards are consistently reflected
  • Build trusted relationships so employees feel supported, informed, and connected, regardless of time zone or role

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of People & Culture / HR / People Operations experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in people administration
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to support employees with clear, transparent guidance
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with comfort in fast-paced, changing environments
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Nice to haves: Experience with HRIS systems (Rippling, Workday, or similar)
  • Exposure to working in a global or distributed team environment
  • Event or culture initiative coordination experience
  • International experience across Australia, US, Canada, and/or UK
