About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overseeing the execution of rebar projects from the set-up phase through completion
Provide total contract management of each project assigned, including coordination of the detailing, scheduling, delivery and costs of products and services
Oversee the customer and project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in all processes with the scope of the project and adapt schedules and work tasks accordingly
Communicate with customers regarding project details involving detailing, fabrication and delivery issues
Review rebar shop drawings and direct the revision of drawings as needed
Schedule the detailing and delivery of required products and services with the contractor, detailers, and production team
Answer customer questions related to assigned projects and resolve any problems that may occur
Perform special projects and complete all other duties as assigned or requested for the support of the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/BA in a related discipline
5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field
Certification is required in some areas
Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineer, Construction Management, related degree and/or equivalent work experience preferred
3+ years of project management experience including 1+ year of construction project management experience
Microsoft 365 - specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to read & understand structural & architectural drawings - nice to have
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
