About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for designing, modeling, and optimizing end‑to‑end supply chain networks
- Leads the development and execution of supply chain network models using optimization software
- Designs and analyzes network scenarios, including facility location, distribution flows, sourcing strategies, and transportation options
- Conducts throughput analysis to identify bottlenecks, constraints, and improvement opportunities
- Partners closely with Distribution Operations, Transportation, Purchasing, Finance, and Strategy teams
- Owns capacity planning models across warehousing and transportation
- Develops standardized methodologies, tools, and data models to support network planning and optimization
- Communicates complex analytical findings clearly to executive and cross-functional stakeholders
- Supports long-range planning, capital investment decisions, and major initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline
- Generally 8+ years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 5+ years of experience in a related field
- Knowledge of landed cost modeling and supply chain network optimization
- Experience supporting M&A activity, network rationalization, or large-scale transformation initiatives
- Proficiency with data and analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, and advanced Excel
- Hands-on experience with supply chain modeling and optimization software (e.g., Optilogic, LLamasoft/Coupa, o9, AnyLogic, AIMMS)
- Strong background in capacity planning, throughput analysis, and transportation network design
- Ability to translate complex analytical models into practical, business-ready decisions
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
