About the role

  • Overseeing sales operations within their region, driving strategic initiatives to achieve sales targets, and fostering customer relationships.
  • Driving regional sales strategy in collaboration with Vice President of Sales, District Sales Managers (DSMs), and General Managers (GMs) ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Recruits, trains, and develops sales teams, focusing on sales techniques, market dynamics, and pipeline building programs.
  • Champions human resources processes within sales, including hiring, coaching, and performance management of field sales associates.
  • Facilitates frequent sales calls and coaching sessions to identify growth opportunities and remove barriers to success.
  • Develops and executes regional sales strategies and initiatives, leveraging data analytics and KPIs to assess performance and drive growth.
  • Holds sales teams accountable for achieving sales targets and adopting business initiatives through regular performance reviews.
  • Partners with operations to enhance customer service, resolve disputes, and support will call and counter sales growth.
  • Manages customer and supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and product availability, and developing strategic accounts.

Requirements

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Significant experience in sales management, including leadership roles in achieving sales targets and managing teams.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of coaching and developing sales teams to maximize performance and meet business objectives.
  • Expertise in developing and executing regional sales strategies, utilizing data analytics and KPIs to drive growth and market penetration.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, resolve issues, and enhance customer satisfaction.
