About the role
- Responsible for end-to-end delivery of mission-critical, user-facing Care Services initiatives
- Own engineering delivery and operate as engineering co-lead with the primary Product Manager
- Ensure reliable outcomes and strong stakeholder trust
- Manage risks proactively and communicate tradeoffs under ambiguity
- Lead engineering delivery for Care Services outcomes
- Manage 1 Engineering Manager and their team of 4, plus 2 engineers in an adjacent team
- Ensure high quality and usability of releases
- Act as the senior engineering representative in leadership-level discussions
Requirements
- 10+ years in software engineering
- 5–10 years of engineering management experience
- 2–4 years of senior engineering management experience
- Experience managing Engineering Managers and individual contributors
- Experience delivering user-facing consumer applications
- Experience leading high-visibility initiatives with external stakeholders
- Experience leading teams responsible for frontend and user experience–critical components
- Experience driving continuous improvement in delivery predictability and execution maturity
- Strong stakeholder management and diplomacy
- Strong English communication skills
