About the role

  • Responsible for end-to-end delivery of mission-critical, user-facing Care Services initiatives
  • Own engineering delivery and operate as engineering co-lead with the primary Product Manager
  • Ensure reliable outcomes and strong stakeholder trust
  • Manage risks proactively and communicate tradeoffs under ambiguity
  • Lead engineering delivery for Care Services outcomes
  • Manage 1 Engineering Manager and their team of 4, plus 2 engineers in an adjacent team
  • Ensure high quality and usability of releases
  • Act as the senior engineering representative in leadership-level discussions

Requirements

  • 10+ years in software engineering
  • 5–10 years of engineering management experience
  • 2–4 years of senior engineering management experience
  • Experience managing Engineering Managers and individual contributors
  • Experience delivering user-facing consumer applications
  • Experience leading high-visibility initiatives with external stakeholders
  • Experience leading teams responsible for frontend and user experience–critical components
  • Experience driving continuous improvement in delivery predictability and execution maturity
  • Strong stakeholder management and diplomacy
  • Strong English communication skills
