About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based backend applications
  • Contribute to system architecture, including application structure, data models, and integration patterns
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external services
  • Make technical decisions that ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
  • Review code and provide architectural and technical guidance to other developers
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, frontend developers, and DevOps teams
  • Participate in technical discussions, estimations, and solution design

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in PHP (7/8)
  • Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
  • Solid understanding of OOP principles, MVC, and design patterns
  • Experience designing and working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience contributing to or defining application architecture in medium to large-scale systems
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows
  • Experience with DDD, microservices, or modular monolith architectures
