About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot
  • Contribute to frontend development with React and TypeScript
  • Deploy and manage services in a Kubernetes environment
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team (6 people) on new features of an existing service
  • Work with relational databases ensuring data consistency and performance
  • Containerize applications using Docker (or equivalent technologies)
  • Use GitHub for version control and follow best development practices
  • Track work and document solutions using Jira and Confluence

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Java and Spring / Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture
  • Experience with Docker or similar containerization tools
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes environments
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL or alternatives)
  • Proficiency with Maven
  • Experience working in agile, collaborative teams
