About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based backend applications.
- Contribute to system architecture, including application structure, data models, and integration patterns.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external services.
- Make technical decisions that ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Review code and provide architectural and technical guidance to other developers.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, frontend developers, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in technical discussions, estimations, and solution design.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in PHP (7/8).
- Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
- Solid understanding of OOP principles, MVC, and design patterns.
- Experience designing and working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience contributing to or defining application architecture in medium to large-scale systems.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
- Experience with DDD, microservices, or modular monolith architectures.
