About the role
- Build the Whatnot brand and craft best-in-class creative across physical and digital experiences
- Lead strategy, development, and execution of high-performing creative assets across international marketing channels
- Oversee end-to-end processes from brainstorms to final handoff
- Establish pipeline of high-performing creative for testing and iteration
- Analyze performance data and testing results to inform creative direction
- Manage relationships with external agencies and contractors
- Provide feedback and guidance to team members and external partners
- Stay ahead of trends, emerging platforms, and creative best practices
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in performance creative roles with emphasis on paid social
- 2-4+ years of experience in a lead role executing projects independently, including in-house experience at a multi-sided brand
- Proven track record leading creative development from concept to execution
- Deep understanding of audience behavior, digital marketing trends and tools (paid and organic social)
- Skilled at interpreting performance data and leveraging analytics tools
- Ability to set and achieve performance marketing goals, manage budgets and campaigns at scale
- Experience reacting to cultural moments with timely social content
- High-growth startup, marketplace or creator-focused platform experience preferred
