About the role

Whatnot is the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe to buy, sell, and discover the things you love.
Responsible for growing our seller pipeline and ensuring we meet the needs of our buyers on Whatnot.
Prospect, identify, and qualify top sellers; develop outreach strategies including email copy, warm/cold calls, social media outreach, and in-person events.
Develop relationships with sellers and collaborate with internal teams to drive business growth.
Grow into Sales Manager roles or other opportunities by working on a fast paced growth team.
Team members must be within 50 miles of our Los Angeles or New York City hubs.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
You have a passion for our mission at Whatnot - you live and breathe the needs of our communities and work relentlessly to improve their experiences on Whatnot
You love operating in ambiguity and being a solution oriented self starter
You are always curious and a fast learner, meaning you can pick up and deeply understand all parts of our sales process and the various categories on the platform
You have strong communication skills- both verbal and written and can hold an engaging conversation
You have strong attention to detail and organizational and time management skills
You can take in qualitative and quantitative data to make a judgment call on if a seller is a good fit for Whatnot
You have resiliency through the sales process and can handle and work through rejection or objections
You are excited about our cultural principles and to work in a high-growth and high potential environment where change is a constant
Team members in this role are required to be within 50 miles of our Los Angeles or New York City hubs.
